What to include in your ePortfolio

As you progress through your program, you will want to regularly include all sorts of evidence and process pieces to your ePortfolio.

If you are in the PB program, ensure that you claim XP every time you do some work on your ePortfolio design or development.  You may claim points by completing an "ePortfolio Development" quest in GameLab.

  • TRB Standards:
You will find that many of the projects and processes you add to your ePortfolio may be utilizable as TRB Standard Evidence pieces.
Example: Your work on the EDEXPO might be a solid evidence piece for TRB Standards 7 & 8)

  • Evidence of Competency:
Example: Your blog posts describing your practicum experiences might demonstrate your ability to accept and act upon constructive feedback.  You might add student work exemplars...

  • Credo/Frame of Reference:
You will find that you continually add to and develop your Credo

  • Classroom Management Strategies:
You might add classroom management strategies to a page or document as you learn about and observe your practicum sponsor teacher.

  • Processes:
You might have a blog post which demonstrates your developing understanding and use of Formative Assessment.

  • Lesson/Unit Plans:
House your Lesson and Unit Plans in a section of your ePortfolio for re-use and for sharing.

  • Reflections:
You might have a blog of your critical reflections regarding the material and experiences in the program

  • Projects:
Add your projects to the ePortfolio.  You might take photos of non-digital projects or embed digital projects.
